Visualizing e57 Files with Panoramic Images

Kartorium can help visualize e57 files from various vendors, such as Leica, Matterport, and NavVis. If you want to see your e57 files with panoramic images, follow the workflow below.

Workflow for Visualizing e57 Files

Step 1: Create a New Project

In the Dashboard, click on the + New Project button.
Select "Virtual Tour" as the scene type.
Use the file picker to select your e57 file.

Step 2: File Processing

This will initiate a cloud process to convert your e57 file into a browser-friendly format.
You will receive an email notification once the processing is complete.
Note: Larger files may take more time to process.

Adding an e57 File to an Existing Project

If you are working within an existing project, you can add your e57 file by creating a new scene:

Click on the Scenes tab in the left bar.
Click on + New Scene at the bottom of the panel.
Follow the same steps as described in the new project workflow above.
