Features
Features can be used in different ways to communicate more specific points of interest within a scene. There are different types of features that can be added.
| Feature Type | Description |
|---|---|
| 3D Model | 3D model, chosen from the list of point clouds and meshes already added to your library |
| Assets | Features created from entries in Kartorium’s asset database. |
| GeoJSON | (Map scenes only) Markers, polygons, and lines created from an uploaded GeoJSON file |
| Icon | A tag that can be placed in 3D space with selectable icons |
| Image | A plane mesh in 3D space using an uploaded image as the texture. |
| Label | A 3D annotation made from text you specify |
| Line | (Map scenes only) line rendered on the map layer, made from specified coordinates |
| Markers | (Map scenes only) images that render on the map layer at a specific location on the map |
| Polygons | (Map scenes only) filled shape on the map layer, made from specified coordinates |
| Raster Layer | (Map scenes only) Imagery that is geolocated and rendered on the map. Supports .tif file types. |
